Belgrave & Powell Completes the Strategic Acquisition of Certain Assets of Trufab Limited
6th April 2021 - TAMWORTH, ROCHDALE, PLYMOUTH and PRESTON - Belgrave & Powell Limited, a specialist engineering services group, working in conjunction with Realta Consulting Limited and Strala Investments Limited, announce with effect from 6 April 2021 to have acquired the business and assets, including all IP and goodwill from Trufab Limited based in Rochdale, Lancashire. 29 employee jobs have been retained, and the new business will continue the 30 years of trading from incorporation in 1990. Operating from the same 68,000 sq ft facility the business will now trade under the name Trufab Technologies Ltd. Terms of the transaction were not disclosed.
Trufab are a leading UK supplier of high quality stainless steel fabrication components to the food, pharmaceutical and machinery industries and with the acquisition, Trufab Technologies will continue to offer a comprehensive range of services and products to its extensive customer base supported by enhanced capability of the new owners.
Paul Ward, a partner in Belgrave & Powell, will lead the company as part of Belgrave & Powell’s Machine Technology Group and commented; “We’re delighted to have acquired such great capability in high quality fabrication work via Trufab and their employees are a key part of the successful calibre and reputation built up with their extensive customer base both in the UK and internationally. Belgrave & Powell Completes Acquisition of Addition Manufacturing Technologies Limited
26th May 2020 - Belgrave & Powell Limited, a specialist engineering services group announce with effect from 26th May 2020 to have acquired assets, IP and goodwill from Addition Manufacturing Technologies Limited (Addition) based in Preston, Lancashire. Operating from the same facility in Walton Summit, Preston the business will now trade under the name Addison Forming Technologies Ltd. Terms of the transaction were not disclosed.
Addition were a leading global supplier of tube bending equipment and tooling to the aerospace, automotive and nuclear industries and with the acquisition, Addison Forming will continue to offer a comprehensive range of services and products to its extensive customer base and will also now offer new solutions including automation and robotics.

B&P Acquire Machine & Tooling Group (MTG)
14th November 2018 - UK based industrial group Belgrave & Powell Ltd today announced that it has acquired MTG Group from Hughes Armstrong Industries Ltd. MTG is a small and specialised portfolio of engineering businesses including Dean Smith & Grace (“DSG”), an historic and globally renown UK based manufacturer of manual and CNC Lathes, GAC Rail a specialised rail machine tool service provider and Maydown International the Midlands based tooling solutions provider. “This transaction is a solid strategic fit for B&P as we look to develop a strong presence supporting UK manufacturing with specialist and niche solutions and having renown historical and trusted brands within the portfolio is key to our growth plans.” said Stephen Lord, Partner.
